SCD - “when I have time” was made essentially when I had time. The time between work, emptiness, uncertainty, and life. It is the first music I have made since my mom passed. Months and months after my mom passed I felt a huge warmth, and weight lifted. I’m not sure what it was. My inspiration came back and I made over 100 or so beats and picked these ones to release as a coherent piece. Many of these pieces are a mix between happiness, emptiness, sadness, and acceptance.
The art represents the banded krait; a shy snake that comes out at night. A snake that will reduce into itself under its coils rather than fight but can at times be dangerous. Also, a mug filled with presumably coffee, maybe tea. Representing me, what brings me peace, and retrospect in times of creation and chaos.
