Sutro Sound Bath by Secret Sidewalk
Secret Sidewalk presents “Sutro Sound Bath”. The sophomore release of the band’s imprint, Primal Dap Sound, picks up the thread left by their inaugural release, “Primal Dap”.
The primary source material for “Sutro Sound Bath” came from recording sessions that took place in January and February of 2020. Despite the difficulties of sheltering in place, the group persevered with virtual listening sessions, sketch-refining file swaps, and socially-distanced backyard mixdowns.
“Sutro Sound Bath” features the group’s continued experimentation with chance and sonic textures, deftly adapted to the unique circumstances of the current times.
